Dried Lavender
Dried lavender has so many uses, it really is up to your imagination how you use it, however we have listed a few
of the more popular uses below:- Cooking with Lavender: Are you using Rosemary or other herbs in your cooking? Why not try using lavender instead. Start off with a small amount of the dried lavender flowers and just start experimenting. Lavender does have a strong flavour so a little does go a long way! At Yorkshire Lavender we have a range of lavender food including, lavender scones, lavender cake & cheesecake & lavender ice-cream. NB - make sure your are using dried lavender for culinary use. Lavender Oil should never be used in cooking.
- Lavender Bags: Probably the most popular use for dried lavender is using it to make lavender bags. These have a multitude of uses around the home including, putting a bag under your pillow to aid sleep, hung in a wardrobe to deter moths or placed in a drawer to freshen clothing.
- Dried Lavender Bunches: Hang bunches of dried lavender near doors and around the house and watch the flies turn around quickly!
