'Kokedama' is a modern idea of planting inspired from Japan that translates to 'Moss ball'. A plant's roots are encased in a soil ball then covered with moss and secured in place to form a simplistic ornamental feature. They are fun to make and we are offering a workshop where you can have a go at creating 2 of them to take home, one to hang and one to sit. So roll up your sleeves, prepare to get messy and come and have a go at this unique planting style. During the session you will of course be given refreshments and a piece of lavender cake to enjoy throughout.
