Exclusive winter guided walk
With the lavender cut back and the visitors gone, winter is a time to enjoy the structure of the garden. Winter mornings bring a crisp bite to the air, branches and seedheads are outlined in frost, and our beautiful blue sculptures stand out against the view.
Join head gardener Julia for a seasonal walk through the gardens, at a time when they’re usually closed to visitors. Julia will talk about how the gardens have evolved over the 25 years since the first lavenders were planted on the farm. There will be plenty of time for questions – a great chance to learn more about growing lavender and get some inspiration for your own garden!
Back in the tearoom we’ll warm up with a cup of hot chocolate and a slice of seasonally inspired cake / a mug of delicious soup and home-baked bread. This guided walk will last approximately 1 hour.
The ground (and the weather) may be wet, so please wear appropriate shoes and dress for cold and rain.
EJ's Tearoom will be open for refreshments and freshly baked cakes 10am till 2pm. The gardens will also be open with no admission fee.
