It all started with some leftover seeds.

You might think, as the second generation owner of Yorkshire Lavender, that gardening would come naturally to Emma - she did grow up running through the lavender fields after all.
But for most of her life it seemed like the green-fingered gene wasn't going to emerge. Until now.
Emma, eagerly supported by her daughter Kendall, has been completely bitten by the gardening bug and the object of her obsession? No, not lavender ... Pumpkins!
It was only supposed to be a little experiment. But one tray of seedlings became two. Two became three. And before we knew it, the Poly tunnels were overrun with pumpkin plants.
Will the seedlings survive long enough to make a Pumpkin Patch this October? Who knows. But under the watchful eye of our head gardener, and supported by Kendall's enthusiasm, Emma is hopeful!
