Picnics at Yorkshire Lavender

Life's a picnic ...

Yorkshire Lavender is the perfect location for a picnic. Relax, spread out a blanket and tuck into a tasty selection of treats while you take in the gorgeous sights, sounds and scents around you.

While you are more than welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy, why not take all the stress out of your day and book a pre-packed picnic from our wonderful partners Harri & Ed.

 

Simply order in advance of your visit (48 hours notice, please) and it'll be packed and ready in a pretty hamper, complete with blanket, ready for you to enjoy.

 

Picnics even include garden admission!

What's included?

  • A delicious selection of savoury sandwiches

  • Mouthwatering homemade cakes

  • Lavender scones with butter, lavender & blueberry conserve and clotted cream

  • Freshly made garden salad and coleslaw and crisps

  • A choice of non-alcoholic beverage

  • All essential crockery ​

Before you book ...

To make sure you have the best possible experience with during your visit, here's a few things to know before you book your picnic.

  • 48 hours notice is required for picnic. Please do not book any later than this so we have time to prepare your picnic.

  • We can cater for most allergies, intolerances and dietary preferences. Please specify any using the booking form.

  • Please note that we cannot guarantee our picnics are free from traces of nuts. For this reason, we kindly advise those with nut allergies to refrain from booking, as your safety is our top priority.

  • Picnic baskets include a blanket but you are welcome to bring your own, or camping chairs

  • Glassware is not permitted as our fields must be kept glass free. Please help keep our farm safe and beautiful.

  • Rubbish and recycling bins are provided, please be sure to use them.

  • The consumption of alcoholic beverages is not permitted on the farm unless provided by the Tea Room.

  • Dogs are welcome in the grounds and picnic areas as long as they are kept on a short lead.
