EJ's Tearoom

EJ's Tea Room opening times are 10:00 till 16:30 daily. 
 *please note last orders for hot food in EJ's Tearoom is 3pm and last orders for drinks and snacks is at 4:30pm.

Named after Emma Jane, the 'lavender girl' from our logo, EJ's Tea Room boasts

delicious treats with spectacular panoramic views over the Vale of York and the Lavender Gardens.

Tearoom

Serving delicious homemade cakes, scones and treats for the whole family.

We serve morning coffees, light lunches, afternoon cream teas and even picnics to take in the gardens. Particularly popular are our lavender scones and blueberry and lavender cheesecake. 

Picnics

Yorkshire Lavender is the perfect location for your next picnic. Our spacious land offers plenty of picnic places for your friends and family to enjoy a meal surrounded by the sights, sounds and beautiful aroma of our farm.

Afternoon Tea

Book a traditional afternoon tea to have in EJ's Tearoom, overlooking our beautiful gardens. 

Afternoon Tea is available 7 days a week, and bookings can be made online. All bookings must be made at least 48hrs prior.

Outdoor Seating Area

EJ's Tearoom offer takeout for our outdoor seating area, we also have seating around our gardens if you have purchased an admission ticket.

Sustainable Tearoom

We serve Yorkshire Tea which is now certified Carbon Neutral.

Our food is locally sourced to decrease food miles.

Cakes for the tearoom are made onsite or locally and we serve Ryeburn Ice Cream that is made just 15 miles away.

Any takeaway cups, cutlery, packaging etc we use are either recyclable or compostable.

Teabags, coffee granules and compostable cutlery are all added to our compost heap.
