Welcome to EJ's Tea Room

Named after Emma Jane, the 'lavender girl' from our logo, EJ's Tea Room serves delicious treats with spectacular panoramic views over the Vale of York and our lavender gardens.

We offer a selection of hot and cold light bites, sweat treats, teas and coffees, soft and alcoholic beverages, afternoon teas and picnics.

EJ's Tea Room is open daily between 10am - 4:30pm during the season and hot food service finishes at 3pm

Whether you'd like to sit in our cosy nook, the tea room itself, or the outdoor picnics area, we have plenty of places to relax and enjoy.

Our commitment to sustainability

At Yorkshire Lavender, sustainability and the environment are important to us. Here are a few of the things we're doing as part of our commitment.

We serve Yorkshire Tea which is now certified Carbon Neutral.
Our food is locally sourced to reduce food miles.
Cakes are made onsite or locally and we serve Ryeburn Ice Cream.
Takeaway cups, cutlery & packaging are recyclable or compostable.
Teabags, coffee granules & compostable cutlery are all composted.
