Time for Tea? A little extra treat for your visit to Yorkshire Lavender

If you've visited us in previous seasons, you may remember that we offer an Afternoon Tea experience.

This year, we've been excited to announce some changes at Yorkshire Lavender - including our new Tea Room partners Harri & Ed, who bring a fresh menu with so many delicious new dishes to try. While there's lots of new additions to tuck into, Afternoon Teas and Picnics are still firmly on the menu.

Here's everything you need to know about booking

Afternoon Tea at Yorkshire Lavender this season

What is included in the afternoon tea?

Afternoon teas include a selection of delicious finger sandwiches. Fillings can vary but a typical selection may include cucumber egg and cress, roasted ham & tomato chutney and cheddar cheese & chutney.

Alongside these, a freshly baked scone, served with cream and jam.

A selection of cakes is also included. Again, the varieties may change through the season, but think zesty mini lemon meringue pies, rich tiramisu cake slices and cream-filled chocolate choux buns, topped with cinder toffee crunch.

A pot of tea, or coffee is served alongside the traditional tiered stand to wash down all those treats. And, if you fancy a little something extra, you can upgrade your afternoon tea to include Nyetimber sparkling wine

I'm vegan, can you cater for me?

Absolutely, we can provide vegan options. We can also cater for a gluten free or dairy free diet or simply swap out something you don't like for something you do. Our booking form has a place for you to make your requests.

Can I have coffee instead of tea?

You can. Those not partial to a pot of tea can have coffee instead. And you can also take the option to upgrade to a sparkling afternoon tea with Nyetimber sparking wine if you fancy.

Fancy an afternoon tea at Yorkshire Lavender?

Whether its a treat for yourself or a gift someone someone else, a special occasion or just a 'why not?', an afternoon tea is always a great idea.
