Calling all volunteers. Come and learn how to propagate lavender

Are you interested in learning something new?

We know loads of you loved our Harvest Days at the end of the last season. This year, there's also an opportunity to help establish the lavender, too.

Each Tuesday in May, we're opening up lavender propagation sessions for keen volunteers where you can learn the best tips and tricks for starting new plants - and help us prepare the gardens for the new season.

Spend some time in the plant nursery with our Head Gardener Julia and discover how best to take cuttings, the right soil conditions, watering advice and all the other handy little tips to help your lavender thrive - whatever your garden's conditions. Whether you can spend a couple of hours with us or the whole day, we'd be delighted to have you!

The dates for our sessions are: Tuesday 5 May

Tuesday 12 May

Tuesday 19 May

Tuesday 26 May

We're getting ready for the new season and extra hands are gratefully appreciated! As a thank you for helping us, you'll also get:

  • Free tea or coffee and cake on the day

  • A free ticket to the gardens during the season

  • 10% off our workshops

Keen to get those fingers green? Please email us with the date you'd like to join us and we'll be in touch!

Can't do those days but keen to get involved? Do get in touch and we'll see if we can accommodate.
