Rush, rush, rush. That's what so much of daily life is. Blink and you'll miss it.
So often, we find ourselves saying 'wow, isn't time flying?' And while we haven't invented a way to actually hit pause on life, we've got a pretty good substitute - taking more time to be in the moment with mindful little activity that encourage you to slow down, breathe and notice what's around you.
If you've been trying to slow things down, you might enjoy the mindful activities we have coming up this season.
Yoga sessions
During these sessions with Katrina, you can't help by slow down and breathe as you're guided through gentle movements designed to get you out of your thoughts and into your body.
Places have been booking up FAST but we've added a new Sunday morning slot in August, perfect for unwinding in a beautiful setting.
Sound Resonance
A visit to Yorkshire Lavender is a multi-sensory experience - from a feast of colour for the eyes to the gentle sounds of buzzing bees - and of course, that scent! And now we have an additional treat for the senses - lavender resonance workshops.
These sessions are designed to bring deep calm, through breath work and a sound experience using gongs, instruments and gentle frequencies, combined with live plant music, connected to the lavender itself.
We have a morning and an evening session to choose from to bring you total relaxation - both including garden admission and a drink and sweet treat to enjoy during your visit.
Paint and Sip
Keen on creativity and fancy a little treat at the same time? Paint and Sip sessions are just the thing.
Relax, unwind, enjoy a drink in a beautiful setting while creating your very own masterpiece - you don't need to be a fully fledged artist, just bring your enthusiasm and we'll show you how to create something you'll love!
