Wow, doesn't time fly? It seems like only 5 minutes since we were putting the finishing touches on the tea room, giving everything a fresh lick of paint and stocking up on scones, ready to open for the new season.
Now, the lavender is harvested, the leaves are turning and we're looking ahead to sweater weather!
But there's still a week left to come and enjoy a visit. Our tea room is open for those all-essential final lavender scones (on a special cream tea deal, too!), the shop is stock with gifts and goodies (perfect for those getting ahead with their seasonal shopping), the plant nursery has an excellent section of plants to take home to your garden and - speaking of gardens - our still look lovely, even without the lavender.
So why not lace up your walking boots, wrap up and come and enjoy the beautiful views over the Vale of York. Garden entry is only £3 per adult, and kids can visit free, so it's a great opportunity for some purse-friendly family time in nature.
