Looking over the stunning views of the Vale of York, surrounded by nature and tranquility, it's hard not to feel inspired.
This is why we love hosting creative workshops through the season - giving you the opportunity to get hands-on, learn a new skill and enjoy a few hours of calm and creativity.
We have plenty of sessions planned for 2026. Whether you fancy something floral, want to try your hand at painting or want a some ultimate relaxation - we've got you covered. Take a look at what we have planned for 2026
For the budding artists
The brilliant Robert Dutton returns with his excellent Paint & Pastel workshop. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve on existing skills, this session is perfect for unlocking your creativity, supported with Robert's marvellous mentoring.
Fancy balancing a paintbrush and a wine glass? PaintAway will be hosting their fabulous Paint and Sip sessions - fun, laidback and creative - details for this session are coming soon!
Fabulously floral
Wreath workshops with our head gardener Julia are always incredibly popular. Spend a few hours learning a new skill - supplied with fresh lavender and all the equipment you need to make a stunning lavender wreath, guided by Julia, you'll come away with something to display with pride.
Something scent-sational
We love the Soap Making workshops with Rachael from Wharfdale Soaps. These sessions give you everything you need to make 6 gorgeous soaps, with three variations of scent. Made with natural and nourishing ingredients, and finished with beautiful packaging, you can give them as gifts, or keep them all to yourself.
A soothing sound journey
New for 2026, we're very excited to welcome The Flame Within, who'll be hosting two calming Lavender Resonance sessions, taking you on a journey of deep relaxation with breath work and sound exploration. Choose from a morning session, or an evening one, and slip into a blissful state of relaxation.
